Alex’s first memory in life was being homeless. He lost his dad to cancer at the age of seven and was shuffled into the foster care system. Just before aging out, he broke his neck becoming a quadriplegic. In spite of his past, or, perhaps because of it, Alex realized that it doesn’t matter what circumstances a person goes through in life. It matters what they do with those circumstances.
